Location
Sornico (754 m above sea level) is situated in the Val Lavizzara (upper Maggia Valley), 10 km above Bignasco in the direction of Fusio. The 13 Ticino villages north of Cavergno form the municipality of Lavizzara.

Getting Here
By public transport
From Locarno, take the regional bus to Bignasco and then the Postbus to Sornico, alighting at the ‘San Martino’ stop.

By car or coach
Access to the house is possible for loading and unloading. Free parking is available in front of the school or in the large car park by the ice rink.
Please note: Access for coaches over 10m in length is only possible as far as Bignasco!
