Since 2018, a tax on official rubbish bags (Sacksteuer) has been in effect in the canton. One 35-litre bag is provided for guests. Additional official rubbish bags (17L, 35L, 60L, 130L) can be purchased individually at the ‘La Botega’ shop in Sornico.
